Matt Brown is a comedian, singer, and host based in Chicago. Known for his rapid fire tongue, incisive crowd work, and  improvisational fancy, Matt brown can be seen performing at Lincoln Lodge, LAUGH FACTORY, Comedy Bar, and other live performance venues throughout the midwest and south. Before starting comedy in 2016, HE trained as an operatic tenor with penny springer miller and lori saathoff for 8 years. From 2019-2024 Matt continued his work in music as a documentary producer, writer, journalist, and vocal pedagogue for the black music archive. in SPRING 2024, MATT SANG in NEW YORK with GRammy-award Winning American SOprano, LEONA Mitchell. LATER THAT year he recorded his first comedy special, which is scheduled for release in spring 2025.
